Gift Rusere is a Zimabwean artist who creates beautiful carvings mostly in spring stone, green opal, serpentine stone and verdite. Gift learned to carve whilst working in Chinembiri craft centre in Mbare. His first pieces were exhibited at the Harare International festival of the arts (HIFA) in 1999 and his works are now found in galleries in countries such as Germany, England and Australia, and now Global Gifts!
